In addition to individual water filters, El Amor has partnered with the municipality of Sumpango and village leaders to bring water to all the homes in Yalu.  The municipality has dug a well, El Amor is providing the tubing and pipes for the project, and the village is providing the labor under the supervision of an engineer and project management resources from El Amor.

This project will relieve the burden of carrying laundry and heavy water containers to the homes of the families and provide easier access to clean water for cooking, washing laundry, and bathing.

This water project will be completed in five phases at the cost of approximately $4000 per phase.
