Hello friends! We are a small group traveling to Guatemala in August and are hoping you will be interested in helping us fund the service projects we will be undertaking. Working with El Amor de Patricia orphanage and within the small village of Yalu, the projects include providing bunk beds for children, elder beds, and safe, efficient stoves to Yalu, painting houses, conducting hygiene clinics, and sponsoring carnivals for the kids of El Amor and Yalu. Guatemala is one of the poorest countries in Latin America, and we find that the people of Guatemala are so grateful for the smallest thing you do for them. It is a joy to spend time with them.
